Ingredients

  • 2.25cupsAll-purpose flour
  • 1cupButter, softened
  • 0.75cupGranulated sugar
  • 0.75cupBrown sugar, packed
  • 2wholeEggs
  • 1tspVanilla extract
  • 1tspBaking soda
  • 1tspSalt
  • 2cupsChocolate chips

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)

    In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt

    In a large bowl, beat butter and both sugars until creamy

    Add eggs and vanilla to butter mixture; beat well

    Gradually beat in flour mixture

    Stir in chocolate chips

    Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets

    Bake for 9-12 minutes or until golden brown
